The SSG Gloves "Roar for More" promotion is
underway with its third year at Sonoma Horse Park, welcoming three new bonus
money winners during the season's opening event, the Spring Classic, held May 7
to 11 in Petaluma.
Running exclusively at Sonoma Horse Park, the SSG Gloves
Roar for More promotion sees four different classes selected as eligible events
at each horse show, with a $500 bonus on offer to each of the winning riders if
they are wearing SSG Digital style riding gloves. On Saturday evening, May 10,
Kristin Hardin and Bert topped a starting field of 29 entries to win the $25,000
Equine Insurance Grand Prix. Following a
10-horse jump-off, Hardin posted the winning time of 40.91 seconds to edge out
Bjorn Ikast and Colorado, who tripped the timers in 41.84.
