Matt Brown Moves East Sad to say farewell to Matt Brown and his wife and partner Cecily Clark, who are moving their East West Training Stables from its long time base in Sonoma County’s Petaluma to the East Coast. An alternate for the US eventing team at this month’s Pan Am Games, Matt acknowledges that it’s difficult to leave his loyal clients, but even more difficult to juggle international ambitions and a training business being on the West Coast.

Pan Am Games Participants Extra cheers for our two West Coast riders representing the U.S. in dressage at the Pan American Games this month in Toronto, Canada. Steffen Peters and Legolas 92 join Laura Graves and Verdades in the Big Tour division, and Sabine Schut-Kery of Thousand Oaks and Alice Womble’s Sanceo join Kimberly Herslow and Rosmarin on the Small Tour squad. Steffen’s top mount, Legolas, is owned by Four Winds Farm, which also owns Rosamunde, with whom Steffen is a traveling reserve for the Big Tour.
