Nobody could beat Keri Potter’s time aboard Bitalica in the jump-off for the $80,000 FEI CSI3* Grand Prix on Easter eve in San Juan Capistrano. That’s kind of funny because not being in a hurry with the 12 year old Oldenburg has been the secret to their increasing success together. Owned by Julia Koetting, Bitalica “just kind of fell into my lap,” explains the seasoned Grand Prix rider. “We weren’t looking for each other.”

Show Report: Memorial Day Classic

Andrew Kocher has a busy and successful night in the Grand Prix ring. The Memorial Day Classic, held May 21-24 at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center, was quite the memorable weekend. The Grand Prix was definitely one for the books as 12 horse-and-rider teams battled it out for the win in the jump-off, with Kristin Hardin and Andrew Kocher trading off the lead as they tried to outdo one another.

April 2015 - Winner's Circle Kasey Perry’s Florida Feats

Kasey Perry and Goerklingaards Dublet (Diamond Hit x La Costa/Olympic Ferro) braved pouring rain and Dublet’s inexperience to win both of their Grand Prix classes with a 74.8 percent and 71.5 percent in the Palm Beach Derby National Show in Florida in early March.

Will’s World: On-a-streak show jumper shares insights from a life pursuing passion for horses and sport.

The world belongs to Will Simpson at the moment. Everyone is abuzz over Will’s recent accomplishments -- winning a remarkable nine Grand Prix during the eight-week HITS Desert Circuit in Thermal. Yet they pale in comparison to the entire career of this 2008 Olympic gold medalist. I had the privilege of sitting down with Will for a one-on-one interview, during which I tried to coerce him into giving up some of his secrets.
